WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 5/6

First held in 1972, World Environment Day has become a global campaign to raise awareness and promote actions to preserve the natural environment and protect the planet from the negative impacts of human activities.

Each year, the campaign selects a specific theme to serve as a guiding principle for environmental activities worldwide, reminding us that natural resources are not inexhaustible and that every small action we take today determines the future of generations to come.

The Faculty of Environmental Engineering - Hanoi University of Civil Engineering celebrates World Environment Day annually with activities such as: environmental cleanup, organizing a charity run for the environment, tree planting day, etc. These activities receive the participation of a large number of students and staff of the Faculty, thereby contributing to raising awareness about environmental protection, promoting a green lifestyle and strengthening the sense of responsibility of the community towards current environmental issues.

Protecting the environment is not the responsibility of any single organization or nation; it is the responsibility and right of each and every one of us. Let's celebrate World Environment Day, starting with understanding and knowing the right things, and then acting for a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable planet.
