The Environmental and Energy Technology Laboratory is a unit specializing in research and practice in the fields of environmental technology, energy, and sustainable development. It is built on the modern facilities of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. Located on the 7th floor of the Laboratory Building, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering , the laboratory is equipped with a comprehensive system of equipment to support training, scientific research, and technology transfer, meeting the requirements of interdisciplinary research on environmental treatment, pollutant analysis, and efficient energy use.

List of main facilities and equipment

1. Field and laboratory measurement and analysis equipment group

  • Benchtop and handheld pH meters
  • Salinity, conductivity, and turbidity meter
  • Dissolved oxygen (DO) meter
  • Colorimeter and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometer
  • Automatic titrator

These devices enable the analysis of basic and advanced environmental parameters, serving both training and scientific research purposes.

2. Advanced analytical equipment and high-tech equipment group

  • Ion chromatography (IC) system
  • Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) system
  • Microwave sample digestion device
  • Conventional centrifuges and refrigerated centrifuges
  • Analytical balances and microbalances with high accuracy

This is an important foundation for conducting research on environmental pollution, analyzing heavy metals, organic compounds, and trace pollutants.
