The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering offers comprehensive training programs at all levels, approaching international accreditation standards.

In the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, you can choose to become a student in one of the following fields of study: 1) Environmental Engineering ; 2) Water Engineering - Water Environment ; 3) Engineering Systems in Buildings ; and you can pursue all the desired academic degrees in these fields. The Faculty of Environmental Engineering currently offers the following degrees: 1) Bachelor of Engineering (4 years); 2) Engineer (equivalent to a Master's degree, 5-5.5 years for students with only a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-1.5 years for students with a Bachelor of Engineering); 3) Master's (5-5.5 years for students with only a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-1.5 years for students with a Bachelor of Engineering); and 4) Doctorate. The training programs are designed to be flexible, tailored to the needs of the labor market as well as the learning plans of each student. This illustrates the new training model of the Faculty of Computer Science - adopting the CDIO approach, updated and referenced from developed countries for international integration.

With the new training model implemented above, starting from the 2020 enrollment period, the Faculty of Environmental Engineering will provide society with high-quality human resources in the field of Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering. The new training programs are built using the CDIO approach, updated and referenced from programs in developed countries to ensure international integration, close ties with businesses, and aim for ABET accreditation – an accreditation organization established by the American Association of Professionals. The new program is designed to train Bachelor of Engineering and Engineers capable of effectively solving contemporary environmental problems, contributing to sustainable development and moving towards a circular economy in the context of a rapidly changing and constantly developing world.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering identifies "Program Innovation" as a central and core task to improve the quality of training, orienting training activities to a new stage of development commensurate with its position as a leading educational institution in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering in Vietnam.

The Faculty of Environmental Engineering, University of Civil Engineering, was officially established in 1989 and is one of the first faculties to train in the field of environmental engineering in Vietnam. The faculty boasts a large and reputable teaching staff, including: 1 People's Teacher, 9 Meritorious Teachers, 6 Professors, 11 Associate Professors, and 36 Doctors and Masters. Many faculty members have received training from advanced educational and scientific and technological backgrounds such as Japan, South Korea, the Russian Federation, Canada, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Australia. Many of them are leading experts nationwide in the fields of water supply and drainage; pollution control and restoration of soil, water, and air; solid waste and hazardous waste management; and urban and industrial zone environmental management.
