Introduction to the Water Engineering - Water Environment Department, Faculty of Water Engineering and Environment

The Water Supply and Drainage Engineering Department of the University of Civil Engineering has a training tradition of over 50 years (since 1967), producing highly skilled and reputable technical staff who are leading brands in Vietnam in the fields of water, infrastructure engineering, and environment.

The Water Engineering - Water Environment (WEE) specialized training program is systematic, in-depth, constantly updated, and integrates solid knowledge and necessary skills from the ideation and design stages to the implementation and operation stages of systems and projects in the fields of water engineering, infrastructure, and environment ( clean water supply systems, sustainable water resource management, waste management, pollution control, and resource recovery ) , meeting the requirements of recruiting organizations.

Students majoring in Natural Resources and Environment are trained to be high-quality human resources, meeting professional certifications and practice certificates domestically and internationally, capable of adapting and applying new technologies in a green, smart, efficient, and sustainable direction in the construction and management of water, infrastructure, and the environment in urban, industrial, and rural areas.

2. Training and certification time

Survey data from the last three years shows that:

  • Nearly 100% of recent graduates find employment in their field.
  • Most are hired within 2 months of graduation;
