On February 7, 2023, Taikisha Vietnam Engineering Co., Ltd. visited and worked with the Department of Microclimate & Building Environment, Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. The company also awarded a scholarship worth 25,000,000 VND (" TAIKISHA – A SUCCESSFUL START " ) to student Dang Van Hieu, class 64HKC2, majoring in Engineering Systems in Buildings.
Representing the Department of Microclimate & Building Environment, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Quang - Head of Department, warmly welcomed the students. After introducing the specialization in Engineering Systems in Buildings, Professor Quang expressed his desire for deeper cooperation with Taikisha Company in supporting HK students with scientific research activities, visits, and internships at the company.
On behalf of Taikisha Company, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long - General Manager of Taikisha Hanoi - gave a presentation about the company. He also agreed with the company's stance of sponsoring scholarships for Hong Kong students, supporting internships at the company, and being ready to recruit Hong Kong engineers if they meet the requirements.
Taikisha Vietnam Co., Ltd., established in 1998 with 100% investment from Taikisha Ltd. of Japan, initially focused on its core field of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). Today, Taikisha has grown to become a comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering service provider in the market, covering various areas such as: HVAC systems, water supply and drainage systems, fire protection systems; electrical and control systems, production support systems; water and wastewater treatment systems, etc. In addition to its production and business activities, in recent years the company has collaborated with numerous universities nationwide to support student research and learning.

During the visit, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hanh - Head of General Administration Department - shared details about the "TAIKISHA - A SUCCESSFUL START" scholarship program with the students. With the belief that "students will become the future generation of potential young employees of TVE , " Taikisha Vietnam Engineering Co. , Ltd. decided to award scholarships to outstanding students and students from disadvantaged backgrounds with the aim of : attracting potential students to work at Taikisha Vietnam Engineering Co., Ltd. , supporting outstanding students, and motivating students from difficult circumstances to strive for academic excellence and personal development.
Scholarship recipients must simultaneously meet the following criteria: Final-year students majoring in Engineering Systems in Construction at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering . For high-achieving students : a cumulative GPA of 7.0 (on a 10-point scale) or 3.0 (on a 4-point scale ); an English score of 6.0 ( on a 10-point scale) or 2.5 (on a 4-point scale) or higher; and an interview score of 7 or higher (on a 10-point scale). For students from disadvantaged families: a cumulative GPA of 6.5 (on a 10-point scale) or 2.5 (on a 4-point scale) or higher; the criterion for a disadvantaged family is an average monthly income of less than VND 1,300,000 per person in the working-age household (according to Decision No. 59/2015/QD-TTg). After completing their final year of study at the university, students will participate in an internship at the company. Upon completion of their final year internship, students who wish to commit to a long-term position may have the opportunity to be offered a permanent position at the company.
Dang Van Hieu, a student from class 64HKC4, majoring in Engineering Systems in Construction, with a GPA of 3.11/4.0 (up to year 4), has outstandingly surpassed many other candidates.
