Project Leader : Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Quang, Head of the Microclimate Expert Group, Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, implementing the Project.

Target :

The main objective of the Project is to establish the HUCE-GREE Practical Training Center, aiming to enhance teaching and scientific research capacity in the fields of ventilation, air conditioning, and energy efficiency in buildings in Vietnam. Both parties will strengthen scientific research cooperation and academic exchange between the university and businesses, promoting and leading the strong development in related fields in Vietnam.

Key Results : The project has been implemented and has achieved the following key results:

1. Design and construction of the HUCE-GREE Practical Training Center, located on the 7th floor of the Laboratory Building, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.

2. To conduct collaborative research, practical training, and professional development activities in the field of ventilation, air conditioning, and energy-saving and efficient use in buildings between the Microclimate chuyên môn group of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and GREE Air Conditioning Co., Ltd.

Practical applications : The HUCE-GREE Practical Training Center fully integrates the equipment of a water-cooled chiller central air conditioning system and an intelligent management system. It is used to support teaching activities for students, trainees, and researchers; scientific research activities in the fields of ventilation, air conditioning, energy saving and efficiency in buildings, net-zero projects, etc., by faculty members of the Microclimate specialization group, Faculty of Environmental Engineering; practical training activities (construction, installation, operation, maintenance), professional development for partner businesses; and support enhanced cooperation in training and scientific research between the university and businesses.
