Target :

Survey of the current operational status, infrastructure, and environmental conditions of the Quang Loi landfill.

Prepare preliminary cost estimates for short-term operational upgrade scenarios – transition – closure and post-closure.

Collaborate with international experts and consult with stakeholders to develop a Strategic Options Analysis Report, identifying urgent needs that could impact the reduction of waste/plastic emissions into the environment.

Report on the current status and risk assessment of the Quang Loi landfill.

Propose and analyze the cost-benefit of the solution groups:

(i) short-term infrastructure upgrades for the yard

(ii) alternative waste management options to improve treatment efficiency

(iii) Improve operational management and technical assurance

(iv) closure and post-closure management of the yard

Propose technical solutions and designs for the technical remediation of the Quang Loi landfill in accordance with legal regulations/technical standards, permit requirements, and compliance considerations for proposed interventions.

Practical application (if any): beach renovation has been implemented.
