Engineering systems in construction is one of the disciplines currently undergoing training reforms based on the CDIO framework (C - Conceive, D - Design, I - Implement, O - Operate) to produce engineers with solid professional knowledge, proficient practice skills, and a positive work attitude to meet the increasingly high demands of society.
Field trips are part of the training program aimed at helping first-year students gain a clearer understanding of their chosen major. Recently, four classes of K65 students (including 65HKC1, 65HKC2, 65HKC3, and 65HKC4), under the guidance of Professor Hoang Tuan Viet and Professor Mac Van Dat (Lecturers in the Department of Microclimate & Building Environment), visited the showroom and manufacturing plant of Daikin Vietnam air conditioning equipment.

 The tour officially opened in the main meeting room at the Daikin Vietnam factory (Hung Yen province).

Through visiting the professional production process, from individual components to a complete commercial air conditioner; experiencing firsthand advanced technologies and solutions; and with the enthusiastic guidance and introduction from engineers at Daikin Vietnam factory, participating students broadened their understanding of their chosen field of study…

The entire class of 65HKC took a commemorative photo with teacher Hoang Tuan Viet and representatives from Daikin air conditioner company.

Following the tour, the reports, filled with confidence, enthusiasm, understanding, and sincere gratitude from the future engineers, were sent to Daikin Corporation for its cooperation with the Department of Microclimate & Building Environment in organizing this meaningful and beneficial tour for new students who were still uncertain about the path they would pursue in their youth.
