Second round of evaluation of student scientific research results for the 2019-2020 academic year.

On the morning of November 15, 2020, the second phase of the 2019-2020 Student Science and Technology Conference took place in lecture hall H3, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, attracting a large number of students. This is an annual event aimed at motivating, encouraging, and promoting scientific research activities among students.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Computer Science, Chairman of the Council – opened the conference.

In the second phase of the 2019-2020 academic year, the Faculty of Environmental Engineering's subcommittee participated with 12 research projects defended before two committees (three fewer than in the first phase). Overall, all of the Faculty's projects were of high quality. The research problems covered many pressing issues, attracting the attention of scientists, engineers, architects, policymakers, and the government. Examples include: water pollution, air pollution, the impact of the living environment on human health, recycling waste into useful products, etc.

The judging panel consisted of lecturers from the Faculty of Computer Science – experts with extensive experience and in-depth knowledge related to various topics. The panel members spent considerable time discussing, carefully considering, and thoroughly evaluating all criteria to determine the first, second, and third place winners. This was because all the projects were well-prepared, of high scientific quality, and had high applicability.
