Objective : The long-term goal of the project is to address wastewater treatment issues in small towns and rural areas of countries such as China and Vietnam. With the rapid urbanization in developing countries, ensuring environmental sanitation and water quality is a pressing concern. Exchanging experiences and applying low-cost wastewater treatment methods and models to address these issues is proving to be an effective and economical approach, suitable for the current development process in developing countries.
Main outcome : Development of a new curriculum on low-cost wastewater treatment for postgraduate students in Europe and Asia. The curriculum is compiled in four languages: English, French, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
Strengthen and expand cooperation among project implementing units.
