Objective : To use resources and energy efficiently, develop sustainable construction projects, and contribute to achieving Vietnam's commitment at COP 26 to net zero emissions by 2050.

• Synthesizing international experience on carbon zero emissions (carbon neutrality projects);

• A comprehensive overview of solutions for reducing carbon emissions in construction projects;

• Proposed theoretical model of carbon-neutral buildings categorized by climate zone for two types of buildings: office buildings and schools;

• Develop a set of criteria for identifying carbon-neutral buildings.

Main results :

1. Framework criteria for identifying carbon-neutral buildings;

2. Theoretical models of carbon-neutral buildings for various types of structures such as office buildings and schools;

3. Report on the results of the pilot implementation for two projects: office buildings and schools.
