The Faculty of Computer Science would like to introduce the following annual scholarship and award opportunities to our students:
1. Annual academic achievement scholarships from the University of Civil Engineering.
Academic Encouragement Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to full-time students of the university who are enrolled in a concentrated training program and have achieved a GPA of "good" or higher. The scholarship is awarded per semester of the academic year, with each semester providing 5 months of scholarship corresponding to the following levels: Excellent (GPA 3.6 - 4.0), valued at 1,484,000 VND/month; Good (GPA 3.2 - 3.59), valued at 1,272,000 VND/month; Fair (GPA 2.5 - 3.19), valued at 1,060,000 VND/month.
2. Do Quoc Sam Scholarship
Do Quoc Sam Scholarship: This scholarship fund, named after the late Professor Do Quoc Sam, is for full-time students and was established by the Rector of the University of Civil Engineering. Scholarships are awarded periodically on the first day of each academic year, including one special scholarship worth twenty million dong (20,000,000 VND) and regular scholarships worth five million dong (5,000,000 VND).
3. CSC Scholarship
CSC Scholarship: The CSC Award Fund is established, directly managed, and developed by the COTANA Group. The CSC Award aims to encourage academic achievement and scientific research among students at the University of Civil Engineering. The scholarship is awarded to students in their second to fourth years of study at the University of Civil Engineering who have achieved excellent academic and scientific research results.
The award is given once a year at the opening ceremony and to one (01) most outstanding student of the year. The award is given annually and includes a commemorative medal and cash. The annual award amount is based on the development level of the CSC fund but not less than USD 5000.

Student Tran Duc Minh Hai received the CSC Award for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Student Phan Thi An is honored to be one of the 11 most outstanding students at the University of Civil Engineering, and was a candidate for the CSC Award in 2017 and 2018.
4. Scholarships from the Faculty of Computer Science
- The Environmental Talent Scholarship is exclusively for students of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering with excellent academic achievements. This scholarship, established by the Faculty of Environmental Engineering with sponsorship from partner organizations such as Phu Dien Construction & Trading Joint Stock Company, is worth 10 million VND per scholarship.
- The Panasonic Scholarship (PACS), worth VND 20,000,000 per academic year, is awarded to students currently studying Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or related fields who have a strong desire to learn and contribute to the development of Vietnam.
- Other accompanying scholarships include: Minh Hung Plastic Joint Stock Company, INNO Scholarship, etc. Scholarships are awarded at the annual Freshman Welcome Ceremony with a value of up to 10 million VND per scholarship.
- Annual scholarships for the Building Systems Engineering major: Daikin Scholarship worth VND 25,000,000/1 outstanding student; MEVN Scholarship, worth VND 25,000,000/1 outstanding student.
- Water Sector Scholarships: This scholarship fund is established and sponsored by water sector businesses; 30 scholarships are awarded each year, each worth between 3 and 5 million VND. In addition, scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to participate in field trips to domestic and international businesses.

5. Other scholarships available at the school
- Merali Scholarship: With financial support from the Shirin Pandju Merali Foundation, the Asia Foundation, in collaboration with the Center for Education and Development, has established the Merali Scholarship Program in Vietnam to support academically capable female students who lack the financial means to pursue higher education. The scholarship is worth 13,000,000 VND per year. It is awarded for the entire five years of university study until graduation, provided students maintain good academic results. The scholarship is disbursed three times a year: the first at the beginning of the academic year, the second at the beginning of the second semester, and the third at the end of the academic year.
- The Kumho Asiana Scholarship Fund for Vietnam was established on December 6, 2007, with the aim of nurturing talent and developing arts and culture in Vietnam. Each year, the Ministry of Education and Training, together with Kumho Corporation, awards approximately 100 scholarships from the Kumho Asiana Scholarship Fund for Vietnam to outstanding first-year university students (those with the highest entrance exam scores) and children from disadvantaged families. Selection is based on direct interviews. The scholarship is worth approximately VND 2,150,000 per semester per student and is awarded for all 4-5 years of university study (provided the student consistently maintains good academic performance).
