In April 2020, the Journal of Science and Technology in Civil Engineering (STCE - ISSN: 1859-2996) of the University of Civil Engineering was approved for inclusion in the prestigious ASEAN Citation Index (ACI). ACI is a central database system in Asia, established to record and publish high-quality scientific research results. Members of the system include the following countries: Brunei; Cambodia; Indonesia; Laos; Malaysia; Myanmar; Philippines; Singapore; Thailand; and Vietnam.

The Journal of Construction Science and Technology (Journal of Construction Science and Technology), affiliated with the University of Construction (UCP), was established on February 17, 2007, under Press Operating License No. 18/GP-BVHTT issued by the Ministry of Culture and Information, with an initial publication frequency of 4 issues per year.

Subsequently, the Journal of Construction Science and Technology was authorized by the Ministry of Information and Communications to increase its publication frequency to 5 issues/year in Vietnamese and 1 issue/year in English, according to the amended and supplemented license No. 299/GP-BTTTT dated June 6, 2016 (previously issued by the Ministry of Culture and Information).

Due to the increasing demand for publication volume, according to Official Letter No. 76/BTTTT-CBC of the Ministry of Information and Communications dated January 12, 2018, the Journal of Construction Science and Technology will continue to increase its publication volume to 3 issues/year in English and 5 issues/year in Vietnamese.

Detailed information about the Journal of Construction Science and Technology

The Journal of Construction Science and Technology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal specializing in the field of basic construction, encompassing the following disciplines: civil and industrial building construction; bridge and road construction; marine, hydroelectric, and port construction; construction materials; construction mechanics; architecture and planning; construction economics and management; environmental engineering; and information technology. Through continuous development in both quantity and quality, the Journal of Construction Science and Technology has gradually established itself as a specialized scientific journal in the field of basic construction.

The Journal of Construction Science and Technology is gradually improving the quality of its scientific articles and online journal editing processes to meet international standards. The journal is considered a good forum for domestic and international scientists to exchange and publish new research results to serve the needs of scientific research and the development of applications in production. For the journal to continue to affirm its prestige domestically and integrate internationally, the significant contributions of scientists both domestically and internationally are essential.

Currently, there are 15 journals in Vietnam accredited by ACI.

The Editorial Board of the Journal hopes to receive enthusiastic contributions from scientists both domestically and internationally by submitting articles to the Journal and providing peer reviews.
